2. Rest your phone against the middle of the speaker, bottom edge down.
3. Turn your phone's volume up past halfway and press play.

For Bluetooth, press the mode button and pick the speaker from your phone's Bluetooth list.

Set-down mode is made for music. Podcasts and calls have quiet gaps that can make the sound dip, so switch to Bluetooth for those.

Hear a hum or an echo? Slide your phone a little until it's centered.
